ANGELA’S ASHES & MIRACLE WORKER

      I’d like to say that I love both ‘Angela’s Ashes’ and ‘Miracle Worker’. Because they are real life story. Accordingly, I was impressed . But there are both similarities and differences among the two films.
      They have some things similar, but also they have some things different, too. One of the similar things is their theme. Their theme is hardship of the life. And both Helen and Frank are industrious. One of the different things is that Frank doesn’t have any obstacles, but Helen is both deaf and blind. Namely, Helen’s situation is worse than Frank. Actually, Frank’s life is also difficult. Because he is poor. But, he doesn’t give up. He always struggles. In two films; there are upsetting situation, but their character is so strong. Namely, they always tried to overcome obstacles. One of the difference is that in Angela’s Ashes, there was a poor family. But in the Miracle Worker , there was a rich family. Both Helen and Frank’s hardship are different. Helen is try to overcome her disability. But Frank is try to overcome his poverty. With the help of the her family and her teacher, Helen is more or less overcome her disability. Both of them achieved.
      These two fims shows me that whatever you have obstacle, you can deal with it. You mustn’t give up. You must always try to lead your life as normal as possible. Like Helen’s says: ‘NEVER GIVE UP!’…
